Looking at AAC

No matter how you look at it, AAC has become an essential element of many people’s everyday life.

Making use of diverse methods, diverse professions offer and stimulate augmentative or alternative forms of communication to implement ACC users’ basic need of communication in diverse life situations.

This diversity is what makes AAC precious and unique.

The Gesellschaft für Unterstützte Kommunikation e.V. will take the opportunitiy to take a closer look at AAC’s diversity of methods, aids and approaches at our 2019 congress.

We invite you and our participants to examine AAC from all its different angles – welcoming academic presentations, examples of best practice, that show experiences and results of working with AAC, as well as presentations that put latest findings and content around AAC up for discussion.

New developments, ideas and projects, big and small, will find room in the poster exhibition or on the innovation and technology podium.

Should you have further ideas for our congress and e.g. wish to contribute to xx, please contact our congress team directly via
